First ball - no run, dot ball and Dhoni refused to run single, and wanted to finish the match by himself.
Second ball - Patel to Dhoni and it was a wide
Reball - Patel to Dhoni, SIX, that's why he refused the run. This one was into his hitting arc, too full and Dhoni clobbered that over long-on. What swing, what power off the bottom hand
Third ball- Patel to Dhoni, no run, he flat-batted that towards deep cover, was certain it was a boundary but Hasim Amla did amazing job job by stooping which was a certain boundary.
Fourth ball- Patel to Dhoni, FOUR, short outside off and he's flat batted that over cover, one bounce into the ropes, just misses the six by few inches.
Fifth ball - Patel to Dhoni, SIX, short on middle, Dhoni moves back into the crease and swings this one over deep midwicket. Wow! Incredible. Too short, he picked the length early
Then came the moment of the match
Final ball- Patel to Dhoni, SIX, what a man! Axar Patel bowls this from over the wicket, but the change of angle does little to alter Dhoni's bat swing. This was fired in, too full on middle and leg, but Dhoni had decided he was going over midwicket come hell or high water, and that bottom hand of his is into play as the ball flies off the middle of the bat into the deep midwicket boundary. Shades of the good old helicopter in that one. The powerful wrists of his to the fore as he flicked it up and over. Wow , what a finish! What a player!.

Ball no.1: SIX, pitches it up and where does it go? Straight into the stands over the sight screen. MSD took a step towards off and slammed it 92 metres away from him, the crowd erupts.

Ball no.2: wide, well outside off and wide again. Pressure is showing on Perera.

Ball no.2: 2 runs, low full toss outside off, Dhoni doesn't connect properly and a misfield at midwicket from Ishant gives them two.

Ball no.3: SIX, full toss and where does this one go? Over the fine leg boundary. Dhoni didn't have to use much power their, he used the pace of the bowler to whip it towards a short boundary.

Ball no.4: SIX, this one's on a length and Dhoni has played an inside-out slice over deep backward point for another six. He used his wrists to swivel this one and got the distance

Ball no.5: SIX, on length outside off and CRASH BOOM BANG! This has gone over wide long-on for a huge six. It was a repeat of the six he struck to finish the World Cup.

Ball no.6: SIX, short outside off, third man in the circle and Dhoni reaches out for an upper cut and it lands on the rope for the fifth six of the over! Took some time to find the ball.
